Antique Signed Oil Painting of Church Landscape in Ornate Gilt Frame
Atmospheric antique oil painting depicting a church beside the water, surrounded by bare trees and distant mountains beneath a softly colored blue-green sky. Small figures along the shoreline add wonderful scale and detail to the scene.
The painting is signed “G.Y.” at the lower right. The artist has not been identified, and the work is being offered as an unsigned-attribution antique painting rather than attributed to a particular artist.
Presented in its ornate period gilt frame with raised floral and foliate decoration. The beautifully aged gold finish and elaborate frame give the smaller painting considerable presence and make it especially well suited for a collected gallery wall.
Likely dates to the late 19th or early 20th century based on its materials, construction and overall appearance. Exact date and country of origin are unknown.

Condition: Good antique condition with age-related wear. The gilt frame has rubbing, finish loss, small chips and surface wear.
