Early 20th-century original oil landscape depicting a quiet stream winding through a wooded countryside, with mature trees, open meadow and soft blue hills in the distance.
Painted in rich, atmospheric greens and blues, the work is signed at the lower left, although the artist’s signature is no longer confidently legible. The painting is an original oil on canvas and is presented in an ornate period-style wood frame with aged gilt finish and applied decorative detailing.
The painting is estimated to date to the early 20th century, circa 1900–1930. Exact artist, date and country of origin are unknown.
Overall framed dimensions: 16” W × 13” H.
Good vintage/antique condition with age-appropriate craquelure, surface wear, scratches and abrasions, along with scattered small areas of surface loss.
