Charming pair of vintage Chinese blue and white porcelain bottle vases decorated with flowering prunus branches reserved in white against a rich cobalt blue ground.
Each petite vase features a rounded body, slender neck and gently flared white rim, with the classic prunus motif continuing around the body. Both are marked to the underside with four-character Kangxi-style reign marks. These are considered apocryphal marks and are not an attribution to the Kangxi period.
Their smaller scale makes the pair especially lovely styled on a bookshelf, mantel, bedside table or layered into a larger blue-and-white collection.
Measurements: approximately 5” high × 2.75” at the widest point each.
Condition: Very good vintage condition with light age-appropriate wear. Minor variations in the porcelain and decoration are present between the two. No major chips, cracks or repairs.
