A handsome pair of traditional optical desk accessories featuring a pair of brass binoculars and a large magnifying glass, each displayed on its own adjustable brass and wood pedestal stand.
The binoculars feature an aged brass finish, glass lenses, an adjustable telescoping pedestal and turned wood base. The magnifying glass pairs a substantial round glass lens with a turned wood handle, brass fittings and a rich wood pedestal base. The magnifier can also be removed from its stand for handheld use.
Together they have the feel of a classic English library or collector’s study — ideal styled among books, maps, framed artwork or other traditional desk accessories.
