Vintage J & G Meakin English Ironstone oval serving platter in the classic Dresden Blue pattern.
The platter features a crisp cobalt and soft blue floral design against white ironstone, with a central rose bouquet surrounded by a delicate floral border. A softly scalloped and molded rim adds dimension while keeping the overall design beautifully traditional.
The underside bears the J & G Meakin Ltd. Dresden Blue English Ironstone backstamp and notes the underglaze decoration.
A lovely blue-and-white serving piece for the table, or equally attractive displayed upright on a shelf, hutch, or plate stand.
