Charming vintage woven duck basket featuring a sculptural dark brown wicker head and tail with a contrasting natural woven body. The duck’s carved wooden beak and carefully woven detailing give the basket wonderful character while the generously sized open interior makes it functional for storage or display.
A particularly fun piece for a traditional, country house, cottage, or collected interior—beautiful styled on a console, kitchen counter, bookshelf, or filled with linens.
Measurements: approximately 16” long × 10.75” wide × 8” high at the tallest point.
Condition: Very good vintage condition with light age-appropriate wear to the woven materials. There are a few small irregularities and stray/broken ends within the weave consistent with age and handmade woven construction. Overall structure presents beautifully and remains sturdy.
